2008 Summer Games Opening Ceremonies
Lt. Rocky Quijada of Department of Public Security in Tucson was the highest fundraiser for 2007 and he had the great honor to run in the flame of hope with Special Olympic's most inspirational athlete. Scottsdale PD was named "Guardian's of Flame" and led the final leg into ASU Sun Angel Stadium. Along with Rocky, many chiefs, sheriffs and directors were present.
Thank you to all that attended to support Special Olympic's Arizona athletes.
